Albanian fugitive in Kosovo?

The fugitive from the Greek authoritites, Albanian citizen Faton Syla, is suspected of hiding in Kosovo. Immediately after escaping along with 10 other Albanians from the prison of Trikalas in Greece, according to police, Syla has managed to enter to the territory of Kosovo. 

That's what the weekly Greek newspaper, "Real News", reports, which refers to "Express" newspaper in Pristina. Despite these reports, the Greek authorities have not sought the assistance of the Kosovo Police

Consequently Kosovo Police is not known if the fugitive Greek prisons located in Kosovo, says spokesman Baki Kelani. 

"It's a problem to seek help when a person does not appear in sought by any state", following Kelani, adding that in such cases the police act as the person appears on the Interpol list.

The same answer given the EULEX officials, when asked by the newspaper "Express". However, so far neither the name or picture of Faton SYLAJ is not in the official list of persons being sought by police.

The 11 detainees, all Albanian nationals escaped from prison Trikalas, 320 kilometers north-west of Athens, on 23 March this year in the early hours of the morning. All were convicted of robbery and theft.

Is said that Sylaj have been implicated in the robbery of the apartment of Argita Malltezi, daughter of Prime Minister Sali Berisha in Tirana. Earlier this month, Greek special forces involved in the operation to capture the fugitives killed two of them with at least 20 bullets in the body of each of them.
